Summiting Mount Everest is a test of endurance, determination, and patience. Safety will be the main priority on our climbing adventure.
After the successful Summit achievement, we descend down and on our way back, we will bring back the trashes / garbage that we produced during our stay at the mountain and try to bring the trashes left by other team members to base camp to help support to keep the mother nature clean.
Finally its time for the final adventure – starting our race from Khumbu Icefall area at Everest Base Camp passing through the Sherpa villages to finally finish at Namche Bazaar to conclude the extraordinary grand adventure following the footstep of Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary.
Where is Mount Everest?
The highest mountain in the world is situated at the border between Nepal and Tibet. Mount Everest is located in the Mahalangur Range which is stretched 2,500 km long. It is accompanied by some of the world’s highest mountains from India, Pakistan, China, and Tibet.
Since the Everest lies between Nepal and Tibet, it is possible to climb the peak from both sides. In Nepal, the south side, Everest is located in Sagarmatha National Park in Solukhumbu district and in Tibet, the north side, it is located in the Xigaze region at Tingri County. However, the southern base camp is more famous due to the political restrictions and accessibility.
The height of Mount Everest?
The height of Mount Everest has always been a topic of controversy. Despite the widely recognized elevation, 8,848m (29,029 ft) above sea level, and has been officially accepted by both Nepal and China. But after the 2015 massive earthquake in Nepal, some geologists believe that the highest mountain in the world has shrunk, and some believe it has increased . On December 8, 2020, China and Nepal jointly declared that 8,848.86 meters (29,031.7 feet) is the new Official Height of Mount Everest. This declaration resolved a disagreement once and forever.
