Introduction

Desinged for Extreme adventure lovers, the program will give participants an opportunity to climb a Island peak (6,189m) before running at the World’s Highest Marathon, Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon. With minimum or no experience,participant can climb a peak above 6000m through the program. Be advised that any sort of physical activity above 4000m makes a greater demand on the body than at lower elevations and it can be arduous even for fit runners.

May 13
Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to Event Hotel.
May 14
(i) Morning trek briefing and half-day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu (OR) (ii) If flight is from Ramechhap, Briefing/Sightseeing and drive to Ramechhap Time: 5-6 hrs
May 15
Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding 2,640 m Distance: 11km Time: 6 hrs.
May 16
Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m Distance: 15km approximately Time: 5 hrs.
May 17
Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
May 18
Trek to Deboche via Thyangboche Distance: 6-8 km approximately Time: 6 hrs Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous Altitude: 3,650m
May 19
Trek to Dingboche Distance: 12 km approximately Time: 5-6 hrs Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous Altitude: 4358m

Rest and Acclimatization day at Dingboche.

Rest day at Island Peak Base Camp for Preparation

Early morning start climbing, Summit of Island Peak and return to Base Camp. Time permitting, continue trek to Chhukung
