Introduction
Desinged for Extreme adventure lovers, the program will give participants an opportunity to climb a Island peak (6,189m) before running at the World’s Highest Marathon, Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon. With minimum or no experience,participant can climb a peak above 6000m through the program. Be advised that any sort of physical activity above 4000m makes a greater demand on the body than at lower elevations and it can be arduous even for fit runners.
Itinerary Descriptions
Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to Event Hotel.
Morning Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Preparation day for the trek.
Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding 2,640 m
Distance: 11km
Time: 6 hrs.
Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m
Distance: 15km approximately
Time: 5 hrs.
Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m
Distance: 6km approx.
Time: 5hrs.
Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m
Distance: 12km approx.
Time: 5hrs.
Rest and Acclimatization day at Dingboche.
Trek to Chukung (4,730 m)
Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (4,970m).
Rest at Island Peak Base camp.
Trek & climb to High Camp.
Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m
Distance: 9km approx.
Time: 5 hrs.
Trek to Gorakshep, 5100m
Distance: 6km approx.
Time: 5 hrs.
Trek to Everest Base Camp, hike to Kalapattar– 5364m
Distance: 6km approx.
Time: 3-4hrs
Marathon Day – Everest Base Camp to Namche Bazaar.

Trek to Phakding

Trek to Lukla
Distance: 10km

Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
